Downtown Fort Collins & Old Town Square

Downtown Fort Collins is the premier regional destination for business and culture. There, you’ll find world-renowned breweries and restaurants, great shopping, and seasonal events to keep you entertained and coming back for more.

Fort Collins is known for its great pedestrian and bike friendly spaces, and downtown is no exception. Wide sidewalks and pedestrian-friendly plazas make it easy to navigate on foot. Park, wander, and enjoy everything that Downtown Fort Collins has to offer.

Timnath Trail at Riverbend Apartment Homes is less than 10 miles away, about an 18-20 minute drive depending on your route. Whether you’re looking for a fun evening getaway or a daytime family adventure, Downtown Fort Collins is a great choice.

Great Skiing

When it comes to great skiing, it’s hard to beat northern Colorado. You’ll find many incredible skiing opportunities within an hour or so drive of Timnath Trail at Riverbend Apartment Homes to enjoy. Here a couple of our favorites:

Eldora Mountain – About an hour from Timnath Trail in Nederland, you’ll find the 680 acres of the beautiful Eldora Mountain ski area. It has a great small-town feel, various dining options, and some of the most popular trails around.

Echo Mountain – Great for beginners. If you don’t want the hype of a huge resort, and are new to skiing, Echo Mountain in Idaho Springs is a great option. Their large beginners area means you’ll find great variety as you learn — and there’s a tubing hill for added fun.

Horsetooth Mountain & Outdoor Spaces

The Horsetooth takes its name from the Horsetooth Mountain & Reservoir spaces, just 4 miles west of Fort Collins. The trailhead covers 29 miles of trails and allows hiking, biking, and horseback. For the adventurous, it links up with other trail systems that weave throughout the range.

There’s so much to explore in the Rocky Mountain region, and while we love the Horsetooth Mountain Trail, there are dozens of open spaces, lakes, parks, and trails to explore within just minutes of Fort Collins and Timnath Trail at Riverbend Apartment Homes.

New Belgium Brewing

In the heart of Fort Collins, on Linden Street, you’ll find the New Belgium Brewing company, brewers of the world-famous Fat Tire Ale. They’re known for great IPAs and for being a “Brewery for Good.”

If you’re a fan of unique flavors, book a tour! They offer guided tastings as well as public and private tours. It’s a great way to spend a few hours, and learn about one of the great companies based in our backyard.

Nightlife & Great Dining

If you’re headed to Downtown Fort Collins, check out some great fine dining and evening entertainment. Here are a couple of our local favorite flavors!

Young’s Cafe It’s not everywhere you’ll find gourmet Vietnamese eating. Here in Fort Collins, we have one of the best, Young’s Cafe. Check out their rotating daily fresh seafood and traditional dishes. Never tried Vietnamese before? Give it a try – we think you’ll be hooked.

Lucille’s Creole CafeA taste of New Orleans here in Fort Collins. Praline waffles, blackened salmon, and shrimp po’boys are just a few of the great dishes they have to offer at Lucille’s in Fort Collins.
